Get Lippy
Without our words, our thoughts mean almost nothing. It's time to say what you feel and act. Nothing is ever accomplished by keeping quite, be it an idea you have at work, an abusive boyfriend or when choosing which TV show to watch with your friend. Get Lippy is a campaign that encourages women to SPEAK UP against abuse. I encourage not only women, but also men to stand up for women around the world.

Alarming how so many social practices and beliefs around the world target women, and are specifically enacted by men. Even more alarming is how women commit violences against themselves: feeling physically inadequate because of seemingly not fitting the beauty 'ideal',trying to juggle and perform many of the prescribed social roles, but falling short under the pressures of today. We should take note of all the ways - big and small - in which others and we ourselves take power away from what it means to be a woman.
